  • What is ASRB NET Exam?

    ASRB (Agricultural Scientists Recruitment Board) NET exam, or ICAR (Indian Council of Agricultural Research) NET exam, is a national level test for the candidates of agricultural universities. Full form of ASRB NET is Agricultural Scientists Recruitment Board National Eligibility Test.

    ASRB NET Notification 2023

    ASRB NET notification for the year 2023 is expected to be released in February 2023 and the admit card for the exam will be tentatively released in March 2023. The exam shall be conducted in the month of April 2023.

    ASRB NET Application Process 2023

    The ASRB (Agricultural Scientist Research Board) conducts the ASRB NET or ICAR NET exam once every year. To apply for the exam candidates first have to go through the notification and then proceed to apply via online mode.

    Here are the steps one must follow to apply for the ASRB NET exam 2023.

    • Interested candidates need to visit the official website of ASRB or ICAR, i.e., asrb.org.in.
    • Then click on the NET Application 2023 link.
    • After that, they must click on the ‘New Registration’ link and fill the registration form with their name, mobile number, and a valid e-mail Id.
    • After that, they will receive a registration number and password which will be directly sent to their registered e-mail Id to log in.
    • Then using the registration number and password, they must log in to their account.
    • They will then see the application form for the exam.
    • They should fill the application form with personal details and academic qualification details and then select their exam city.
    • After filling the form, they have to upload all the relevant documents.
    • The candidates have to proceed to the next step and make the payment for the exam.
    • After the submission of the application, they should download the soft copy of the application form and payment receipt for future references.

    ASRB NET Admit Card 2023

    The hall ticket for the exam will be released by the conducting body on its official website.

    • Along with the hall ticket, valid identity proof is also needed to be carried to the exam centre (without the identity proof no one is allowed to the exam hall).
    • The Identity proofs are, Aadhaar Card, PAN Card, Voter Card, Driving License, etc.
    • If the candidates found any errors in the hall ticket or they are unable to download the same, they can approach the department (who are responsible for the same) to solve these issues
    • Steps to Download ASRB NET Admit Card 2023

    • To download the hall ticket candidates have to visit the website at asrb.org.in
    • Then they need to look for the admit card link on the homepage.
    • After logging into the website using the registration or application number and password, they can download the admit card.
    • The candidates must take the printout of the hall ticket for the day of the exam.

    ASRB NET Exam Pattern 2023

    The ASRB NET Exam is conducted via a computer-based online test. And the total duration of the exam will be 2 hours or 120 minutes. There will be a total of 150 questions in the ASRB NET Exam and the total number of questions is 150.

    The questions are based on the subjects the candidates apply for and the question are according to the standards of Masters.

    • The result of the ASRB NET exam 2023 will be released on its official website i.e. asrb.org.in.
    • Candidates have to check the result using registration number or roll number or date of birth and password. Without the password, no one can check the result.
    • The result will be declared by the authority according to the performance in the exam.
    • The cutoffs for the ASRB NET exam are different every year.
    • The qualified candidates will be eligible for applying to the Assistant Professor and Lectureship post in state agricultural universities or other agricultural universities.
    • Each and every qualified candidate will receive a certificate from the ASRB Board.
