What is CTET ?

CTET is a central level exam conducted by Central Board of Secondary Education (CBSE) Board. Central Board of Secondary Education (CBSE) conducted the CTET exam for those aspirants who want to become govt. teachers. The CTET exam will be held in two parts which is Paper 1 and Paper 2. Paper 1 is for those candidates who want to teach Classes from 1 to 5 and Paper 2 is for candidates who want to teach Classes from 6 to 8. Candidates who wish to teach Classes from 1 to 8 need to take both papers.After passing the CTET exams, the candidates are provided with the CTET certificate. The candidates will require to apply for the CTET Exam 2023. They submit a complete and accurate CTET Form 2022 along with valid documents and application fees. The candidates submit the CTET Form 2023 before the last date of submission otherwise they won’t be able to submit it.

CTET 2023 Exam Application Form

The candidates must fill up and submit their application carefully way before the last date of submission to avoid any last-minute rush. The candidates must check again that their online application is correct & filled complete to avoid any kind of disqualifications.


CTET 2023 Exam Application Fees

Candidates can apply for CTET 2023 by login themselves to the official website of the Central Teacher Eligibility Test .A candidate who is either from the General or OBC category have to pay Rs. 1000/– (if you are applying either for Paper 1 or Paper 2) and Rs. 1200/- (if you are applying for both the papers).

The fees of Rs. 500/- (if applying for either Paper 1 or Paper 2) & Rs. 600/- (if you are applying for both of the papers) for students who belong to SC/ST category. The CTET 2023 Application Fee varies according to the category SC/ ST/ OBC & Gen.Also the fee for both papers 1 & 2 of the CTET Registration form is different . It depends on the student to select .

CTET 2023 Eligibility Criteria

NCTE,(National Council for Teacher Education) has released a notification including the updated CTET eligibility criteria for the candidates who are doing Teacher Training Course(TTC). According to the notification, the candidates who are doing Teacher Training courses can apply for the CTET Exam.The candidate should go through the notification stating about the CTET 2023 Eligibility Criteria before filling the Online application form of CTET Exam 2023. Here we have mentioned the CTET 2023 Eligibility criteria for both Primary & Upper Primary level of CTET exams.

Candidates should pass 10+2 with a minimum of 50% aggregate marks in order to be qualified as a primary stage teacher.

Candidates should clear graduation with a minimum of 50% aggregate marks or 10+2 with at least 50 per cent aggregate marks from a recognized university in order to be qualified for the appointment of a secondary teacher.

Note:

Relaxation upto 5% in the qualifying marks is allowed for the candidates who belongs to reserved categories such as SC/ST/OBC/Differently abled.

Candidates who will be appearing in the final year of their Bachelor’s Degree in Education or Diploma in primary Education etc., are admitted for now. Their certificate will be valid only on passing the above-stated Examinations, before the declaration of Exam result


CTET Notification 2023: Exam Pattern

In CTET Exam, there is two papers :

Paper-1 will be for those person who want to be a teacher for classes I to V.

Paper-2 will be for those person who want to be a teacher for classes VI to VIII.

Note:

A person who wants to teach for both the levels (classes I to V & classes VI to VIII) have to appear in both the papers (Paper 1 & Paper 2).

Note:

Mathematics & Science- 30 MCQs each -60 Marks OR Social Studies/Social Science -60 MCQs -60 Marks (for Social Studies/Social Science teacher). There will be no negative marking for any wrong answers given.


CTET 2023 Syllabus

CTET 2023 Syllabus: Central Teacher Eligibility Test (CTET) official detailed syllabus will be released by the Central Board of Secondary Education(CBSE) in the CTET notification 2023 official PDF. CTET 2023 Exam Date

CTET 2023 exam date will be soon released by CBSE. CTET exam 2023 has been expected to be held on 15 Nov – 16 Dec 2023 in various districts. CTET exam will be in 2 shifts. CTET Paper-I will be held in the morning shifts & CTET Paper-II will be held in the evening shifts. All the shifts of CTET 2023 exam will be going to held in CBT Mode. CTET 2023 Notification: Admit Card

Candidates can download CTET 2023 admit card from the official website when it is released on the ctet official website of CBSE. CTET Admit card will not be sent by post. Candidate must log themselves in to their registered account to download the CTET 2023 admit card's pdf. CTET Answer Key 2023 For Paper 1 & 2

The CTET exam is conducted in two shifts, 1st shift is for the Paper-I that is for primary level & 2nd shift is for Paper-II that is for the upper primary level. Now we are discussing shift-one CTET Primary Level i.e Paper 1 Exam from 9:30 am to 12:00 pm. Recently, CBSE has released the CTET response sheet on their official website for the candidates who had appeared for the CTET exam 2023. The candidates are now waiting for the official Answer key of CTET 2023 .


CTET 2023 Result

CBSE would release the CTET 2023 December Result on their official website. You can check your result from their official website by your roll no. CTET results will be released on the official website within 4 weeks of the exam conduction. CTET Notification 2023 Cut-Off Marks

The candidates who is going to appear in the exam will be issued a Marks Statement. The Candidates who secures 60% (General) & above marks will be issued a marksheet & Eligibility Certificate. CTET Cut off Marks are declare by the CBSE every year. The examination will have two papers. Paper 1 is for the candidates who are willing to become teachers for classes 1 to 5 & Paper 2 is for the candidates who are willing to become teachers for classes 6 to 8. Both the papers are of 150 marks each. Students who scores marks equal to 90 or more will be considered as qualified.
