    KVS Eligibility Criteria 2023

    KVS Educational Qualification

    PGT– Hindi, English,Physics,Chemistry,Biology,Maths, Economics, Geography,History, & Commerce a) Two Years’ Integrated Post Graduation in M.Sc. The course of Regional College of Education of NCERT in the concerned subject Or Master’s Degree from a known university with at minimum of aggregate 50% marks. b) B.Ed or equivalent degree from a known University. c) Proficiency in teaching in English & Hindi Medium.
    PGT Computer Science 1. Minimum 50% marks in aggregate in any of the given: B.E/B.Tech (Computer Science/IT) from a known University or equivalent Degree or Diploma from a university or institution recognized by the Govt. of India. OR B.E/B.Tech (in any stream) & Post Graduation Diploma in Computers from a known University or MSc. in (Computer Science)/ MCA or Equivalent from a recognized University OR B.Sc. (Computer Science) / BCA or Equivalent & Post Graduation degree in the subject from a known University OR Post Graduation Diploma in Computer & Post Graduation degree in any subject from a known University OR ‘B’ Level from DOEACC & Post Graduation degree in any subject OR ‘C’ Level from ‘DOEACC’ Ministry of Information & Communication Technology & Graduation. 2. Proficiency in teaching Hindi & English Medium.
    TGT– English, Hindi, Science,Social Studies, Sanskrit & Maths (a) Four years integrated course of Regional College of Education of NCERT in the concerned subject with at minimum of aggregate 50% marks. OR Bachelor’s Degree with minimum 50% marks in the concerned subject/combination of subject and in aggregate. b) B.Ed or equivalent degree from a known University. c) Pass in the Central Teacher Eligibility Test (CTET) Paper-II, conducted by CBSE in accordance with the Guidelines framed by the NCTE for the purpose. d) Proficiency in teaching in Hindi & English medium.
    TGT (Physical & Health Education) Bachelors' Degree in Physical Education or equivalent
    TGT (Art Education) 1. Five years’ integrated Diploma in Drawing & Painting/ Sculpture! Graphic Art or Equivalent recognized Degree 2. Working knowledge of Hindi & English.
    TGT (Work Experience) Electrical Gadgets & Electronics: i) Three years Diploma after Higher Secondary in Electrical. Electronics Engineering from any institution which is recognized by State Govt./ Govt. of India. (The minimum qualification required for admission for the Diploma Course should be at least Higher Secondary). OR Degree in Electrical or Electronics Engineering from a recognized University. OR Graduate in Electrical or Electronics Engineering from a recognized University. ii) Working knowledge of Hindi & English.
    PRT (All subjects) 1. Senior Secondary or it is equivalent degree with minimum of 50% marks & 2 year Diploma in Elementary Education OR Senior Secondary or its equivalent degree with minimum of 50% marks and 4-year Bachelor of Elementary Education (B. El. Ed.) OR Senior Secondary (or it is equivalent) with at least 50% marks and 2-year Diploma in Education (Special Education) OR Graduation with at least 50% marks & Bachelor of Education (B.Ed) * from any NCTE recognized institution will be considered for appointment as a teacher of class I-V provided the person so appointed as a teacher shall compulsory undergo a six month Course in Elementary Education recognized by the NCTE within two years of appointment as Primary Teacher 2. Qualified in the Central Teacher Eligibility Test 3. Proficiency to teach through Hindi & English Medium.
    PRT - Music i) Senior Secondary School Certificate with minimum of 50% marks or Intermediate with 50% arks or its equivalent & Bachelors' Degree in Music or equivalent from a recognized University. ii) Competence to teach through English/ Hindi medium.

    KVS 2023 Result
