What is MAHA TET Exam ?
Maharashtra TET is a teacher eligibility test (TET) at state-level conducted by the Maharashtra State Council of Examination (MSCE) to evaluate the eligibility of candidates for Classes 1 to 8 teachers in the Maharashtra's schools .The MAHA-TET exam is conducted at two levels – the primary level i.e. (paper 1) & the upper primary level i.e. (paper 2). Candidates who are willing to become teachers from Classes 1-5 have to give the MAHA TET paper 1 & candidates who want to become teachers of Classes 6-8 need to appear for MAHA TET paper 2. Candidates who want to become teachers of Classes 1-8, need to appear for both papers.

MAHA TET Syllabus 2023
The MSCE prescribes the MAHA TET syllabus for Paper 1 & Paper 2. Candidates should be familiar with the MAHA TET syllabus 2023 to know about the number of the subjects, topic-wise weightage of topic-wise questions, important topics and marks distribution. The MAHA TET Paper 1 syllabus includes topics from , Language-I, Language-II,Child Development & Pedagogy Mathematics & Environmental Studies. On the other hand, the MAHA TET Paper 2 syllabus consist questions from Language-I, Language-II,Child Development & Pedagogy, Mathematics & Science or Social Studies/Social Sciences.
MAHA TET Exam Pattern 2023
MAHA TET exam pattern highlights the structure of the exam that includes the total marks, section-wise marking scheme, number of subjects, total number of questions & time duration. The MAHA TET examination pattern differs for Paper 1 & Paper 2. But, both papers share the same number of questions & marking scheme. Each paper is of 2 hours 30 minutes duration & comprises 150 questions each of one mark. There will be no negative marking in the exam.
